His multifaceted career has spanned roles as a music producer, professional tennis coach, and Behavioral Health Science specialist for over 25 years. Additionally, he served as a surgical technician in the U.S. Army, working at the prestigious Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

His journey into the world of plants began with a unique curiosity—wanting to eat grass and learning how to forage for edible plants that many people overlook, such as clovers, dandelions, and mints. This curiosity turned into a serious endeavor when Mr. Johnson began experimenting with hydroponics, using the Kratky method. However, it was through his pursuit of sustainable agriculture that he found his true passion: growing microgreens. Mr. Johnson didn’t just want to create a product; he wanted to develop a product that was of the highest quality and could be easily shipped. This led him to design and build a growing system in his basement, with a focus on cleanliness and sustainability.
